The Samsung Galaxy S24 is reportedly in the works, and the latest leaks suggest the upcoming device could sport a very distinctive design.
The leak, posted by Twitter user @eveleakes, includes a collection of images supposedly depicting the unannounced smartphone from a number of different angles. In the images we can see an extremely thin profile and a design that departs from the classic curved form factor that many of Samsung’s flagships have sported in recent years.
The sides of the device appear to be flat and the Galaxy S24 seems to be constructed entirely out of titanium, according to reports. This would make it the first major flagship to do so, as most flagships have traditionally used more standard materials like aluminum or glass.
The display is also said to have a more flattened shape, with the glass sitting flush with the metal body. This would further emphasize the flat aesthetic of the phone, making it quite a bold departure from Samsung’s traditional designs.
In addition, the camera module is also said to have been redesigned, with an improved autofocus system and a revamped flash tuning system.
Other rumored specs for the device include a slightly larger 6.7-inch display, a Snapdragon 888 processor, and up to 12GB of RAM. The device could also offer support for 5G connectivity, as well as an under-display fingerprint sensor.
All of these specs remain unconfirmed, however, as Samsung has yet to officially announce the device. Until then, the exact details of the Galaxy S24 remain shrouded in mystery. Nonetheless, the latest leaks do paint an interesting picture of what the device could be capable of, and we can only hope that Samsung does not disappoint with its upcoming flagship.
