“Hunter’s Bold Move: Shopping With Biden After Skipping Congressional Subpoena!

After a week of political turmoil surrounding Hunter Biden and his alleged ties to the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings, the son of Former Vice President Joe Biden was spotted shopping in Washington D.C. with his father a few days after defying Congressional subpoena.

Hunter Biden, who is the surviving son of former Vice President Joe Biden, was spotted shopping at the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington D.C. with his father, the 46th Vice President of the United States of America, and a few other companions on Sunday, January 12th, 2020 on the weekend before Joe Biden’s inauguration.

The public outing followed Hunter Biden’s defying the Congressional subpoena last week. Republicans had asked Hunter Biden to testify in Wednesday’s impeachment hearing against President Donald Trump. Hunter Biden and his lawyer claimed he could not attend the hearing due to “due to pressing family matters and the imminent onset of the holiday season”.

It is to be noted that this marked the first public sighting of the former Vice President and his son together, since the hearing of the impeachment trial began on Wednesday, January 8th.

Before the outing with the former Vice President, Hunter Biden has been in hot water recently over his alleged connections to the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings. According to reports from major media networks, Hunter Biden had received more than $3 million as payment from the company, allegedly in return for access to his father’s political influence.

Despite public scrutiny, Hunter Biden has refused to comment on the issue, and the Biden’s outing indicated that the family has not been perturbed by the controversy surrounding the situation.

The Washington D.C. outing might be a sign of the Biden family’s ongoing support for one another despite the political troubles they are facing. Hunter and his father seemed jovial, and were seen smiling during the outing.

As Hunter Biden is currently facing charges for his alleged connections to the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma, it is yet to be seen if he will continue to receive public support from his father and other prominent Democratic Party figures in the near future.
